The present petition is filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution for seeking directions to the respondents to take necessary action to maintain and repair the roads, street lights and drainage system of Mayapuri Industrial Area, Phase-1. The petitioner has made the following sspprayer: - a. Issue an appropriate writ, order or direction to the Respondents to maintain the roads, street lights and improper drainage system in order to prevent water logging from the streets of Mayapuri Industrial Area phase-1, New Delhi.

b. Issue directions to the Respondents to repair all the pits and the manholes and make roads safe to travel of Mayapuri Industrial Area phase-1, New Delhi.

c. Issue directions to the Respondents to employ sufficient number of sweepers for maintaining the cleanliness of Mayapuri Industrial Area phase-1, New Delhi.

The counsel for the respondent no. 2 stated that a meeting between the official of the respondent no. 2 and the DDA was held on 17.05.2023 wherein it was intimated by the official of the respondent no. 2 that the development of the area has already been carried out and accordingly, the counsel for the respondent no. 2 has produced the Inspection Report dated 04.05.2019. The perusal of the Inspection Report dated 04.05.2019 reflects that the necessary work including the repair of roads by filling pot holes, repair of drains and replacing the missing/broken drain covers with precast drain covers etc. has already been done to the satisfaction of the concerned authority.

In view of the fact that satisfactory work has already been conducted by the respondent no. 2 as detailed hereinabove, the petitioner who is appearing in person seeks permission to withdraw the present petition. 4.
