W.P.(C) 8796/2018 & C.M. No.35566/2018 2.
The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be issued to the respondents to take appropriate action against Ms Meena Gill, who was working as Office Superintendent in Statistical Branch, Northern Railway, State Entry Road, New Delhi. Various allegations of misconduct have been made by the petitioner against Ms Gill. It is also pointed out that Northern Railways has already instituted an inquiry in respect of some of the allegations raised by the petitioner. 3.
The petitioner is another employee of the Northern Railway and
having forwarded the information regarding certain alleged misconduct, he would have no role to play; it would be for the Northern Railway to take necessary action, if warranted.
4.
The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that he would be satisfied if a direction is given to the respondents to complete inquiry as expeditiously as possible. In this view, the present petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to complete the inquiry as expeditiously as possible, if not, already done and take such steps as warranted in accordance with law. No other directions are warranted.
5.
The petition is disposed of. The pending application is also disposed of.
