% 04.10.2016 This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No. 12/2012 under Section 420/406/34 IPC registered at Police Station Rani Bagh.

It is stated that the matter has been settled amicably between the parties amicably vide compromise deed dated 12th May 2016. Counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the matter has been compromised and settled between the parties amicably vide compromise deed dated 12th May 2016.

The complainant/respondent No.2, Chandra Prabha Yadav in person before the Court along with the Investigating Officer Sub Inspector Sunny Kumar, confirms the settlement reached between the parties on 12th May 2016 and its execution of the document dated 12th May 2016. I have enquired from her whether the matter has been CRL.M.C. 5369/2013

settled with the petitioner amicably without fear and pressure. She has stated that the matter has been settled without any fear or pressure. She also confirms the execution of the document dated 12th May 2016. Learned Additional PP, on instructions, also confirms the same. Since the matter has been settled/compromised between the parties amicably, no useful purpose will be served to continue with the proceedings under Section 420/406/34 IPC. In the interest of justice, FIR No. 12/2012 under Section 420/406/34 IPC registered at Police Station Rani Bagh and all the proceedings arising therefrom are quashed. The petition is disposed of accordingly.
