% 08.08.2018 Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, after making some submissions, seeks leave to withdraw this petition, in view of the circumstance that, the same has been rendered infructuous, bar the challenge predicated on the University policy, being violative of Article 14 of the Constitution of India.

Leave and liberty granted.

The petition is dismissed as withdrawn and disposed of accordingly. Needless to state that, this Court has not expressed any opinion on the challenge to the University policy, annexed as Annexure-P3 (Collectively), and has left that issue open for determination, in accordance with law, in an W.P.(C) 8269/2018

appropriate proceeding, since the same has been rendered an academic exercise in the present writ petition.
