% 16.08.2018 Notice. Learned APP accepts notice for respondent no. 1. Ms. Renurespondent no.2 is present in Court and accepts notice. Respondent no.2 has been identified by SI Sumit of police station Sarai Rohilla. Respondent no.2 (wife) submits that she has settled the matter with petitioner no.1 (husband) of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Tis Hazari Court, Delhi on 11th July, 2016. She submits that she is living with petitioner no.1 for the last about three years and at present, she has no grievance against her husband or his relatives. She says that she is not interested in pursuing the FIR No. 33/2012 under Sections 498A/323/506/406/34 IPC registered at

police station Sarai Rohilla against petitioner no.1 and his relatives petitioner nos.2 and 3.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner no.1 and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
