O R D E R

% 05.09.2017 It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amiably vide Compromise Deed dated 9th August, 2016, therefore, FIR No. 614/2016 under Sections 384/354/509 IPC registered at police station Mukherjee Nagar on the complaint of respondent no.2 may be quashed. Subsequently, Sections 66 and 66E of the I.T. Act have been added. It is further submitted that petitioner and respondent no.2 were known to each other as petitioner was student of respondent no.2, who is a married woman with one child.

Learned ASC submits that petitioner is a trainee Sub Inspector in Delhi Police. Petitioner demanded ` 5 crores from the respondent no.2 on the basis of some morphed photographs.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner and respondent no.2 had developed friendly relations and out of some confusion FIR appears to have been registered.

Respondent no.2 is present in Court with her counsel and has been identified by Insp. Narender Singh of police station Mukherjee Nagar. She admits having settled the matter with the petitioner of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She further submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further in view of the settlement and the same may be quashed.

Keeping in mind that petitioner has a long carrier ahead him and a settlement has been arrived at between him and respondent no.2 pursuant whereof respondent no.2 is not willing to pursue the FIR, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 614/2016 under Sections 384/354/509 IPC Sections 66 and 66E of the I.T. Act registered at police station Mukherjee Nagar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
