CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK
O R D E R
% 12.08.2016 Marital discord between the husband (petitioner) and wife (respondent no.2) had led to registration of present FIR at police station Crime Against Women Cell, Nanakpura.
Husband and wife have now resolved their differences and started living together with effect from 1st December, 2014. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and admits that she is living with the petitioner happily. She has no objection in case the FIR is quashed. Keeping in mind that both husband and wife have started living together after resolving their differences, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping them entangled in present criminal proceedings. Accordingly, FIR No. 62/2014 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC registered
at police station CAW Cell, Nanakpura, New Delhi and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. A.K. PATHAK, J.
