% 07.08.2018 By this petition, petitioner has prayed for quashing of FIR No. 330/2015 under Section 135 of the Indian Electricity Act, 2003 and the consequent proceeding emanating therefrom in the view of the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no.2. Counsel for the respondent no.2 states that matter has been settled between the petitioner and respondent no.2, therefore, respondent no.2 has no objection in case the FIR is quashed.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be

served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applications are disposed of as infructuous.
