% 05.05.2017 Present contempt petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order dated 22nd March, 2017 passed in W.P.(C) 2631/2017 whereby the respondents were directed to ensure that the testing process with respect to petitioner's goods is completed within a week. Upon receiving the test report, the respondents were further directed to pass appropriate order for provisional release of goods as per the application made by the petitioner. In the present petition, it has been averred that no order for provisional release of goods has been passed by the respondents which is causing grave hardship to the petitioner along with huge pecuniary loss.

On 19th April, 2017, learned counsel for respondents had stated that he would file an application seeking extension of time before the Division Bench.

Vide order dated 21st April, 2017, respondents' application for extension of time was allowed. The Division Bench ordered that the test report be furnished within two weeks and appropriate orders for provisional release be passed not later than four weeks from 21st April, 2017. Today in court, Mr. Harpreet Singh, learned counsel for respondents has handed over a copy of the test report to learned senior counsel for petitioner.

Mr. Singh assures this Court that the petitioner's provisional release application would be decided within the time frame stipulated by the Division Bench.

In view of the order dated 21st April, 2017 passed by the Division Bench, present contempt petition and pending applications are infructuous and they accordingly stand disposed of.
