% 08.12.2017 It is submitted that petitioner No.1 (husband) and respondent No.2 (wife) have resolved their differences amicably before the Delhi Mediation Centre on 16th February, 2017 and started living together after resolving their differences. Therefore, FIR No.266/2013 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 registered at Police Station Jyoti Nagar may be quashed.

Petitioner nos. 2 to 4 are relatives of petitioner no. 1. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court today and has been identified by SI Ashwani Kumar of police station Jyoti Nagar.

Respondent no. 2 admits having settled the

matter with the petitioners of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She further submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR against any of the petitioners and the same may be quashed. Keeping in mind that husband and wife have resolved their differences and have started living together, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, FIR No.266/2013 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 registered at Police Station Jyoti Nagar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
