% 09.08.2018 Notice. Learned APP accepts notice for respondent no.1. Respondent nos. 2 to 4 are present in Court along with their counsel and have been identified by SI Gaurav of police station Rani Bagh. Respondent nos.2 to 4 submit that they have settled the matter with the petitioner of their own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion vide Compromise Deed dated 25th July, 2018. They have no objection in case FIR No. 327/2013 under Section 448 IPC registered at police station Rani Bagh and consequent proceedings are quashed. Affidavit of respondent nos. 2 to 4 are on record in this regard.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent nos. 2 to 4 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
