Learned proxy counsel for the learned Additional Standing Counsel accepts notice on behalf of the State.

By this application the limited prayer of the petitioner is that the two sureties bonds as directed to be furnished by the Director General (Prisons) while granting furlough for a period of three weeks vide order dated 19th November, 2016 be reduced to one which prayer has been rejected by the competent authority vide its order dated 21st November, 2016. 4.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has handed over a copy of the order wherein earlier the petitioner was directed to be released on parole by this court vide order dated 24th September, 2015 on his furnishing a personal W.P.(CRL) 2445/2016

bond in the sum of ₹10,000/- with one surety of the like amount which surety bond was also further reduced to ₹5,000/- in W.P. (Crl.) No. 1305/2015.

Considering the fact that the petitioner after grant of parole surrendered before the Court, the order dated 19th November, 2016 passed by the competent authority granting furlough to the petitioner for a period of three weeks is modified to the extent of two sureties of ₹10,000/-. The petitioner will furnish one surety of ₹10,000/- and rest of the conditions as imposed in the order dated 19th November, 2016 would remain the same. 6.

Application is disposed.

Copy of the order be communicated to the petitioner through Superintendent, Tihar Jail.
