W.P.(C) 7237/2016 & C.M. No.29764/2016 Petitioner is stated to be a squatter at opposite to shop No.165, Sarojini Nagar Market, New Delhi. His submission is that he is still squatting at the site. His further submission is that he is protected under Section 3 (3) of the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014.

Per contra, learned counsel for the respondents submits that the

prosecution challans filed by the petitioner do not create any right in his favour.

Be that as it may, noting the above submission and the fact that the Town Vending Committee (TVC) of respondent No. 1 has been constituted, the petitioner may address his grievance before the TVC, if any.

No further orders are called for on this petition which is disposed of.
