% 14.12.2017 It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no. 2 have resolved their differences. Their marriage has already been solemnized on 28th January, 2016.

It is prayed that FIR No. 77/2015 under Sections 354/506 IPC registered at Police Station Sultan Puri on the complaint of respondent no. 2, may be quashed. Respondent no.2 Ms. Soniya is present in Court and has been identified by SI Ramesh Kumar of police station Sultan Puri. Respondent no. 2 admits having settled the matter with petitioner of her own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and she has married him. She further submits that she is not willing to pursue the

FIR any further against the petitioner and the same may be quashed. Affidavit of respondent no. 2 is also on record on pages 13 and 14. Keeping in mind the facts and circumstances of this case, as detailed above, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 77/2015 under Sections 354/506 IPC registered at Police Station Sultan Puri and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed, in view of the settlement.
