This petition by way of public interest litigation has been filed alleging that the Respondents No.3 to 8 schools which are receiving grantin-aid have been indulging in corrupt practices and that the Respondents No.1 and 2 failed to take any action inspite of repeated complaints made against them.

Having heard the learned counsel for the Petitioners as well as the learned counsel who appeared on advance notice on behalf of the Respondents No.1 and 2, we consider it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to Respondents No.1 and 2 to make an inquiry into the allegations made in the writ petition by treating the same as a W.P.(C) 7487/2016

representation and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law after giving an opportunity of being heard to the Respondents No.3 to 8. Such order shall be communicated to the petitioners within three months from today.
