% 23.01.2019 The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State submits that out of 42 witnesses, 36 witnesses have been examined. The remaining witnesses are officials or police officials and their testimony could be completed within 8 weeks from today.

The learned counsel for the parties submit that they would request the learned Trial Court to expedite the trial and to record testimony of the remaining witnesses within the aforesaid period. In view of the above, the learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the petition any further but seeks liberty to approach the Court at a later stage.
