% 13.10.2017 It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably, therefore, FIR No.438/2015 under Section 324/341 IPC registered at police station Timarpur on the complaint of respondent no.2, may be quashed.

It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no.2 are neighbours.

A perusal of the FIR shows that a quarrel took place between the petitioner and respondent no. 2 on some trivial issue which resulted in registration of above-mentioned FIR.

With the intervention of their common friends and other neighbours they have settled the matter.

Respondent no.2 is present in the Court and has been identified by SI Yogesh Kuimar of Police Station, Timarpur. He admits having settled the matter with the petitioner of his own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion, vide Memorandum of

Understanding dated 30th July, 2016.

He submits that he is not willing to pursue the FIR any further.

Keeping in view that petitioner and private respondents have settled their disputes vide Memorandum of Understanding dated 30th July, 2017, in order to maintain harmonious relations in future, in the interest of justice, FIR No.438/2015 under Sections 324/341 IPC registered at police station Timarpur and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom, are quashed.
