% 02.08.2017 Counsel for the petitioner has stated that he has not been able to get hold of any document in support of his contention that the petitioner was entitled to selection in Navy even if the axial length was more than 26 mm. The respondents have produced before us the original medical records of the petitioner. The petitioner was examined at the Base Hospital, Delhi Cantt. and was declared unfit by Senior Advisor, Ophthalmology on the ground that eye axial length was beyond acceptable limit. The axial length was found to be 26.36 mm and 26.09 mm.

The aforesaid findings of the Appeal Medical Board affirm the earlier examination held at Military Hospital, Allahabad. The specialist had even

earlier opined eye axial length as 26.36 mm and 26.09 mm. The petitioner has relied on report dated 25th July, 2016 of the Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi. This report refers to the vision of the petitioner but does not make reference to the axial length. This being the position, we do not think that the petitioner is entitled to any relief and the writ petition is dismissed. SANJIV KHANNA, J.
