Present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.947/2014 registered under Sections 23 J.J.Act at PS Gandhi Nagar. It is stated that the matter has been settled with the victim / respondent No.2 amicably.

Respondent No.2 is present in person and has been identified by the Investigating Officer. I have enquired from the victim who has since turned major whether the matter has been settled with the petitioners amicably without any fear or pressure. He has informed that the matter has been settled amicably and he has no grievance whatsoever. He further informs that at present he is residing with the petitioners in the house and has no objection to the quashing of the FIR.

Status report reveals that the complainant was aged around 16 years and 7 months at the time of lodging the FIR and at present he is major. It further records that the verification has been conducted from the respondent No.2, his brother - Deepamkar Raj and mother - Bina Rani who have informed that being a family issue, matter has been settled amicably without any pressure.

Their statements have been recorded.

Order dated 21.11.2015 before the Court below records willingness of the parties to move quashing petition before this Court after settlement of the dispute amicably.

The petitioner No.1 is victim's father and petitioner No.2 is his paternal uncle.

Since the matter has been settled amicably and the victim is residing with the petitioners in the house and there is no grievance whatsoever, no useful purpose will be served to continue with the proceedings. In the interest of justice and to enable the parties to maintain their family relations, FIR No.947/2014 registered under Sections 23 J.J.Act at PS Gandhi Nagar and all the proceedings arising therefrom are quashed.

The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
