% 19.04.2017 The present petition under Section 439(2) read wtih Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, has been filed by the petitioner for cancellation of bail granted to the respondent no.2 Satender@Satender Khokhar in a case arising out of FIR No.239/2016 registered on 23rd March, 2016 by Police Station Alipur. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that a complaint was lodged by the petitioner on 7th December, 2016 to the effect that when she along with her mother was going towards police station Alipur in order to check the progress of investigation in the case, the respondent no.2 wrongfully restrained the petitioner on her way and threatened her to withdraw her allegations by showing a pistol. Thereafter, the petitioner informed the PCR and filed a written complaint dated 7th December, 2016 against the respondent no.2 Satender@Satender Khokhar at Police Station Alipur vide DD

No.56B who was granted bail in the present case, but the SHO has not taken any action.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, the counsel for the petitioner does not want to press the present petition and wishes to approach the Deputy Commission of Police of the concerned area at the first instance.

On request, the petition and application are dismissed as not pressed.
