W.P.(CRL) 2391/2018 The petitioners apprehend danger to their person as well as false implication in criminal cases otherwise, by the respondent no. 3 who is residing in the same residential building as them. They have complained to the police a number of times but adequate response has not been given to them.
Mr. Kundu, the learned counsel for the State submits that a complaint has been made by R-3 as well against the petitioners on the basis of which an FIR has been registered. The lis is primarily matrimonial in nature
between the petitioners who are senior citizens and their daughter-in-law - the complainant.
In view of the above, the petition shall be treated as a representation on behalf of the petitioners. The matter will be looked into by the DCP of the area concerned before whom the parties shall appear on 24.08.2018 at 4 pm. An appropriate response, protection and sensitization, as may be, shall be done by the DCP. The I.O. shall ensure that R-3 too is present before the DCP on the said date.
