% 24.04.2017 Petitioner by the present petition seeks, inter alia, appointment of an arbitrator in terms of Section 3(g)(5)(6) of the National Highways Authority of India Act, 1956.

Section 3(g)(6) of the NHAI Act stipulates that the provisions of Arbitration & Conciliation Act 1996 shall apply to every arbitration under this Act.

Petitioner, who appears in person, seeks leave to withdraw the petition with liberty to take appropriate steps in accordance with law under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for.
