O R D E R

% 08.11.2016 Learned counsel appearing for the Respondent No. 2 Union of workers submits that in view of the assurance given by the Government of NCT of Delhi, that the demands of the Respondent Union are being considered, the Respondent Union has called off the indefinite strike.

Learned counsel further submits that the Respondent No. 2 Union objects to the very maintainability of the Petition.

Learned counsel for the Government of NCTD of Delhi submits that the Respondent union has called off the indefinite strike WP(C) 7271/2016

and the charter of demands of the Union is under consideration. Learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner, under instructions, submits that in view of the indefinite strike having been called off, no further order are called for in the present petition, at this stage.

In view of the calling of indefinite strike having been called off by Respondent No. 2, workers Union, the writ petition is disposed of as infructuous.

It is clarified that this court has not examined the merits of the objection with regard to the maintainability or otherwise of the petition.
