O R D E R

% 09.04.2019 1.

Final Order Kalandra dated 10.1.2019 has been placed on record, wherein the Sub-Executive Magistrate, Shahdara District has ordered that after considering all the facts, he has dropped the proceedings and discharged the petitioner from the Kalandara.

2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he has made certain complaints against the police officials, which have not been dealt with by the Office of the concerned Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) and submitted that in view of the fact that the proceedings are dropped against the petitioner as well as the fact that the petitioner has been discharged from the Kalandra, he may be allowed to withdraw the petition, with

a direction to the concerned DCP to deal with the complaint of the petitioner as per law.

3.

Accordingly, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn, with a direction to the concerned DCP to deal with the complaint of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, preferably within eight weeks. Pending applications are also dismissed as withdrawn. However, it is clarified that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the petition or the complaint, if any, filed by the petitioner.
