% 20.10.2016 Present contempt petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order dated 3rd August, 2010 passed in LPA No.532/2010 and order dated 9th July, 2010 passed in Cont.Cas (C) No.82/2010 wherein the respondents stated that if petitioner satisfies the eligibility criteria for consideration in the permanent stream of Junior Assistant-cum-Typist, his application would be considered depending upon the availability of the post.

In the petition it has been averred that though there are permanent vacancies available with the respondents, yet the petitioner has not been considered for the aforesaid post till date. In the affidavit filed by the respondents, it is stated that there are no vacancies in the permanent stream of the post of Junior Assistant-cum-Typist in the college, as the college is still waiting for approval from the University of Delhi.

It is further stated that in order to ensure that the work of the college does not suffer in the absence of a permanent post, the college is recruiting Junior Assistant-cum-Typist on contractual basis. After some arguments, it is agreed that in the event any Junior Assistant-cum-Typist is hired in future on contractual basis, the petitioner shall be at liberty to apply for the same and his application would be considered in accordance with law.

Keeping in view the aforesaid, present contempt petition and the application stand disposed of.
