O R D E R

% 20.09.2018 The petitioner claims that he was assisting one Mr. Moti Lal Gupta, who was an authorised squatter. Additionally, petitioner used to take care of Mr. Moti Lal Gupta during his life time. The bond of the two was such that a joint account was also opened by them in Syndicate Bank, Barakhamba Road, New Delhi. Post demise of Mr. Moti Lal Gupta, petitioner made a representation for transfer of the Tehbazari site in his name. Reliance is also placed on a Will of Late Mr. Moti Lal Gupta.

Mr. Sri Harsha Peechara, counsel for the respondent submits that the representation would be duly considered within a period of four weeks. However, he submits that during the life time of Late Mr. Moti Lal Gupta, his Tehbazari license was cancelled in the year 2010 and a writ petition being W.P. (C) 2653/2010 filed by Mr. Moti Lal Gupta was also dismissed. Once the Tehbazari license is cancelled, no rights would pass in favour of the petitioner.

Be that as it may, let the representation be decided within four weeks. Binding the respondents to the stand taken in Court today, the petition stands disposed of.
