..... Respondents Through:

Mr. M.S. Oberoi, APP for State with SI Gopal Singh from PS-Mehrauli.

CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK

O R D E R

% 13.08.2018 Notice. Learned APP accepts notice for respondent no.1. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and accepts notice.

She has been identified by SI Gopal Singh of police station-Mehrauli.

Respondent no.2 submits that she has settled all her disputes with the petitioners of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion.

She further submits that she has no objection in case FIR No.312/2016 under Sections 354 IPC registered at police station-Mehrauli and the consequent proceedings are quashed against the petitioner and his relatives.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be

served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of, in the above terms.
