1. Learned counsel for the Petitioner states that on the revaluation of the answers of the Petitioner, the Petitioner has now been found qualified for the post of SI (GD), subject to his fulfilling all the other requirements i.e. physical test etc.

2. In that view of the matter, no further directions are called for in the present petition. It is, however, clarified that in the event of the Petitioner being found qualified for appointment as SI (GD), his seniority will be fixed from the date his juniors were granted that promotion without any benefit of arrears or back-wages.

3. The petition is disposed of in above terms. S. MURALIDHAR, J.
