Learned counsel for the appellant has joined the proceedings through V.C. along with the appellant. He submits, on instructions, that the appellant, having completed his entire sentence and paid the requisite fine, does not wish to press the present appeal on merits. 2.

The latest nominal roll on record dated 08.10.2025 reflects that the appellant, after completing his substantive sentence and paying the fine at the jail gate vide receipt no. 13819 dated 21.01.2020, was released from jail on 28.02.2020.

In view of the above, the present appeal is disposed of as not pressed.
