% 05.09.2016 Petitioner Chandri Devi is the widow of Ramchander Misra. It is stated that Ramchander Misra was a disabled person and was squatting near Gate no.2, Palika Bazar (Main), Connaught Place, New Delhi. Ramchander Misra was died on 10.11.2015. His death certificate has been placed on record. Submission is that the widow of Ram Chander Mishra should be substituted and the Tehbazari rights which were being enjoyed by her late husband should be passed on to the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that she is protection under Section 3(3) of the of the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014.
Admittedly, the Town Vending Committee (TVC) qua respondent has been constituted. The rights of the petitioner will be
determined by the TVC. Petitioner is directed to approach the TVC and to get her grievances addressed.
Petition disposed of.
