The present application has been filed under Section 438 read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. for the grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.404/2016, under Section 420 IPC, Police Station Vasant Kunj (North).

As per FIR, the allegations levelled are that the complainant assured the petitioner that he would arrange the job of the complainant in Canada for a sum of Rs.5 lacs. The complainant deposited Rs.2.5 lacs to the bank account of the petitioner. Later on,

the complainant found that cheating was committed with him by the petitioner and the petitioner absconded from his house. During the course of arguments, learned APP for the State has submitted that apart from the complainant, nine other persons approached the police with the allegations that total sum of about Rs.26 lacs have been taken by the petitioner/accused for getting them job abroad.

In the facts and circumstances mentioned above to the effect that the petitioner/accused has duped several innocent persons for getting them job abroad, this Court does not find it a fit case to grant the concession of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
