% 19.04.2017 Issue notice. Mr. Sannu accepts notice on behalf of Mr. Rahul Mehra, learned Standing Counsel (Criminal) for the State. He has tendered a status report, which is taken on record.

The petitioner has preferred the present writ petition to seek a writ of Habeas Corpus for production of Sonia, whom he claims to have married and who is alleged to be confined/ detained by respondents No.3 to 5, the relatives of Sonia.

Sonia has been produced. She is present in Court. We have enquired from her and she states that she does not wish to go with the petitioner. Along with the status report, the statement of Sonia recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C. in case FIR No.429/2016 registered at PS - Moti Nagar under Section 363 IPC has also been placed on record. From the same, it appears that Sonia has supported the case of the prosecution. In view of the aforesaid, nothing further survives in this petition. The same is dismissed.
