CRL.M.C. 3007/2016
1. Present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been preferred by the petitioners for quashing of the FIR No.588/2015 registered under Sections 354/354A/341/506/34 IPC at PS New Friends Colony. It is stated that the matter has been settled amicably with the respondent No.2 / complainant.
2. Respondent No.2 / complainant with her counsel is present before the Court and is identified by the Investigating
Officer. I have made enquiries from respondent No.2 if the dispute has been settled by her with the petitioners of her own free will without any fear or pressure. She has stated that the dispute with the petitioners has been resolved amicably with her free consent and she has no objection to the quashing of the FIR.
3. Petition is supported by affidavits of the parties. Since the matter has been settled between the parties amicably, no useful purpose will be served to continue with the proceedings. In the interest of justice and to put an end to the litigation, FIR No.588/2015 registered under Sections 354/354A/341/506/34 IPC at PS New Friends Colony and all the proceedings arising therefrom are quashed.
4. The petitioners are directed to deposit ` 20,000/- as costs in the Prime Minister's Relief Fund within two weeks. Registry shall ensure its compliance.
