versus THE STATE ( NCT OF DELHI) & ANR ..... Respondents Through:

Respondent no.2 in person.
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK
O R D E R
% 24.04.2015 Petitioner no.1 is husband whereas petitioner no.2 is mother-in-law of of respondent no.2.
Present FIR is result of marital discord between the husband and wife. Petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 have now resolved their disputes amicably before the Mediation Centre, Dwarka Courts on 1st August, pursuant whereof they have started living together.
Respondent no.2, who is present in Court, confirms that she is living with her husband in her matrimonial home happily. She further submits that she has no objection in case FIR is quashed.
Keeping in mind that petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 have reconciled their differences and started living together, in my view, no
fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the present FIR pending. Accordingly, FIR 184/2011 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Dabri and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. A.K. PATHAK, J.
