The present petition has been filed by the petitioner with the prayer to direct the trial court to decide the petition under Section 12 of the Domestic Violence Act within the specified time limit. It has been submitted by the petitioner that the trial is not proceeding speedily and as the petitioner is employed in Assam, he is facing hardship.
After going through the submissions made by the petitioner, this Court is of the considered opinion that the Courts below are already over burdened and dates in the cases are given as per their diary or the register maintained.
No court conducting trial can be
directed to dispose of any particular case within a specified time. Consequently, the present petition is dismissed. P.S.TEJI, J AUGUST 24, 2016 dd
