O R D E R

% 25.10.2016 During the course of hearing, petitioner and respondent have settled their disputes amicably.

Petitioner has offered to pay `2,50,000/- to the respondent towards full and final settlement of all his claims involved in the cheque in question. Respondent, who is present in Court, accepts this offer. He submits that he has no objection in case offence is compounded. Accordingly, offence under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 is permitted to be compounded and petitioner is acquitted. Out of the amount lying deposited in this Court, `2,50,000/- be released by the Registry to the respondent forthwith and the balance amount including the interest, if any, be released to the petitioner.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Copy of this order be given dasti to both the parties.
