Cr1. M.C. No.1818/2015 & Cr1. M.A. No.6539/2015 (for sta y) and Cr1. M.C. No.1827/2015 & Cr1. M.A No.6554/2015 (for stay) These are two petitions filed by the petitioners under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of two cross FIRs, i.e. (i) FIR No.113/20 12, under Section 308/34 IPC, and (ii) FIR No.66/2013 under Section 308/34 IPC, both registered at P.S. Burari, Delhi.

Brief facts of the case are that on 14th May, 2012, a quarrel took place between the parties on the issue of payment of Rs. 1,000/-. On the basis of the complaint made by Veer Singh (respondent No.2 in Cr1. M.C. No.1818/2015), the FIR No.113/2012 was registered against the petitioners, namely, Ranjeet Sisodia, Ramesh Kumar, Prem Lata and Ram Kumar. Ranjeet Sisodia and Prem Lata also allegedly suffered injuries and on the basis of their complaint case, the cross FIR No.66/2013 was registered against Veer Singh and four others. Charges were framed against them. By order dated 2x September, 2014, the District & Sessions Judge passed the order to club both the matters and to try the same together. Since the parties are neighbours, subsequently, with the intervention of the respectable elder persons of the locality, the parties have settled their disputes amicably in February, 2015. They are also present in Court and are duly identified by their respective counsel. They have confirmed the said settlement.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, in order to maintain peace and harmony between the parties and in view of the

averments made in the petitions as well as the settlement arrived at between the parties, the FIR Nos.1 13/20 12 & 66/20 13, both under Section 308/34 IPC, registered at P.S. Burari, Delhi and proceedings pursuant thereto are hereby quashed qua the respective petitioners. The petitions are accordingly disposed of Pending applications also stand disposed of.
