% 19.07.2017 It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes therefore, FIR No. 505/2016 under section 498A/406/34 IPC registered at PS Rajouri Garden may be quashed. Respondent no.2 is present in Court along with counsel and has been identified by ASI Sayapal, PS Rajouri Garden. She admits having settled the matter with the petitioner before the Mediation Centre, Tis Hazari, Delhi on 11.05.2016. She submits that the marriage has already been dissolved vide decree of divorce by mutual consent dated 03.06.2017 before the Court of Mr. Jaswant Kumar, Principle Judge, Tis Hazari, West District. Respondent no. 2 says that

she has already received entire settled amount and is not willing to pursue the FIR any further.

Keeping in mind that the petitioner and the complainant have settled their disputes, the above referred FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
