O R D E R

% 19.09.2016 In view of the last order, Jaipal Singh is present. He is identified by the I.O. The complainant is also present. She is also identified by the I.O. An affidavit of Shubham Tandon, the son of the complainant, in support of this petition has been filed on record. The complainant has been shown the said affidavit and she identifies the signatures of her son Shubham Tandon and states that the said affidavit has been sworn by him. The petitioners have preferred this petition to seek quashing of FIR No.243/2015 dated 18.04.2015 registered at Police Station - Shahdara under Section 420/ 120B IPC. The petition is premised on a settlement between

the petitioner and the complainant vide MOU dated 11.08.2016. The complainant, who is represented through counsel and is also present in Court, states that the entire amount under the MOU has been received by the complainant. She joins the prayer that the FIR in question and the proceedings arising therefrom against the petitioners and Sh.Ved Prakash be quashed.

In view of the aforesaid circumstances, no useful purpose would be served in keeping the FIR in question and the proceedings arising therefrom pending any further. However, considering the nature of allegations, the FIR and the proceedings arising therefrom are quashed subject to deposit of costs of Rs.25,000/- in the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund. The amount be deposited within two weeks. It is informed that the petitioner No.2 is in Jail in another related case. The amount shall be deposited within two weeks of his release. The receipt of deposit shall be tendered to the I.O., whereafter the case shall be closed.
