% 03.03.2017 Petitioner no.1 and respondent No.2 are present in court. Respondent No.2 is identified by the I.O.
I have interacted with the parties. Respondent No.2 states that she is now living with petitioner no.1 happily and, therefore, she does not wish to pursue her complaint. She joins the prayer for quashing of the FIR and the proceedings arising therefrom.
The complainant states that she has not been subjected to any pressure or coercion and that she has entered the settlement out of her own free will. The complainant further states that she joins the prayer for quashing of the FIR in question.
In view of the aforesaid, the FIR No.298/2015 registered at PS Karawal Nagar under Section 498A/406/34 IPC and section 4 of Dowry
Prohibition Act, the charge sheet and the other proceedings in the case are quashed.
