By the present petition the petitioner seeks bail in case FIR No. 320/2016 under Section 307 IPC registered at PS Punjabi Bagh, Delhi. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has been in custody for nearly seven months and the injured has been discharged. Further the settlement has been arrived at between the parties whereby the complainant does not wish to pursue the above noted FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto.

The allegations of the complainant in the FIR were that the petitioner who was working with her in a saloon started interacting with her and soon they became friends. Later the petitioner started pressurising her due to which she had to quit the job in October, 2015 and later started the job again in March, 2016. On 29th April, 2016, at about 10.30 AM while the BAIL APPLN. 1735/2016
complainant was sitting in the saloon in her changing room, the petitioner entered the changing room, locked her inside and pressurised her for marriage. When she firmly denied, the petitioner took out a poker from his pocket and attacked her on her neck and abdomen three -four times. 4.
Considering the seriousness of the allegations in the FIR and the fact that the complainant has not been examined till date, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Petition is dismissed.
