% 24.08.2016 The petitioner seeks quashing of communications dated 17.06.2016. It is contended that both the communications dated 17.06.2016 are unsigned.

It is contended that the petitioner is not sure whether these letters, in fact, have been issued by the Regional Passport Officer, Jalandhar or not. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that the impugned communications dated 17.06.2016 have been issued by the Regional Passport Officer, Jalandhar.

He further contends that this Court would not have the territorial jurisdiction as the show cause notice dated 17.06.2016 and the order dated 17.06.2016 have been issued by the Regional Passport Officer, Jalandhar.

Learned counsel for the petitioner prays for leave to withdraw the present petition with liberty to appear before appropriate High Court. The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty.
