CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK

O R D E R

% 26.10.2017 Petitioners and respondent no. 2 are neighbours. A quarrel took place between them on some trivial matter which had led to registration of FIR No. 1414/2015 under Sections 341 IPC. It is submitted that Section 308 IPC was subsequently added. Petitioners and respondent no.2 have now settled their disputes amicably in order to maintain harmonious relations in future, therefore, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom may be quashed.

Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Sanjay Kaushik of police station Sarai Rohilla. He submits that he has settled the matter with the petitioners vide Compromise Deed dated 17th March, 2017 of his own free will and without any undue

force, pressure or coercion. He has no objection in case FIR is quashed. Keeping in mind that disputes arose between the neighbours on some trivial issue which now they have amicably settled in order to maintain harmonious relations, in the interest of justice, FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.

Dasti.
