CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK

O R D E R

% 27.04.2015 Address of the petitioner has been verified. Petitioner seeks parole on the ground of looking after his wife, who is suffering from psychiatric problem and receiving treatment from Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences, Delhi. Medical prescriptions have been filed, which have been verified by the Station House Officer, P.S. Seelam Pur. Request of the petitioner for parole has been rejected in view of adverse police report that there is possibility of petitioner committing similar offence in case he is released.

A perusal of nominal roll shows that on earlier occasions, petitioner was released thrice on furlough.

It is not the case that he has

misused the concessions of furlough granted to him. Keeping in mind the totality of circumstances, petitioner is ordered to be released on parole for a period of one month from the date of his release, subject to his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of `10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent. During the parole period, petitioner shall not leave the territorial bounds of Delhi and shall report to Station House Officer, P.S. Seelam Pur once a week, that is, on Mondays at 10 AM. He shall also provide his contact number to the Station House Officer. On completion of the parole period, petitioner shall surrender before the Jail Superintendent. Copy of this order be sent to Jail Superintendent for serving it on the petitioner and also for compliance.

Writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. A.K. PATHAK, J.
