O R D E R

% 20.09.2016 Petitioner has prayed for quashing of the FIR No.466/2016 under Section 135 of the Indian Electricity Act, 2003 registered at police station Vasant Kunj South against the petitioner on the complaint of respondent no.2, BSES Rajdhani Power Ltd.

Respondent no.2 and petitioner have settled their disputes. Respondent no.2 admits that settled amount, against the theft bill, has already been paid by petitioner. Respondent no.2 has no objection in case the FIR is quashed.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the parties, no

fruitful purpose would be served to keep the FIR pending. Accordingly, FIR No.466/2016 under Section 135 of the Indian Electricity Act, 2003 registered at police station Vasant Kunj South is quashed in view of the settlement arrived at between the parties.

Writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
