Present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been preferred by the petitioner for quashing of the FIR No.373/2015 registered under Sections 323/354/452/506/34 IPC at PS Tilak Nagar. It is stated that the matter has been settled amicably with the respondent No.2 / complainant before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Tis Hazari Courts, New Delhi on 31.05.2016.

Respondent No.2 / complainant is present before the Court and is identified by the Investigating Officer. I have made enquiries from
respondent No.2 if the dispute has been settled by her with the petitioner of her own free will without any fear or pressure. She has stated that the dispute with the petitioner has been resolved amicably with her free consent and she has no objection to the quashing of the FIR.

Petition is supported by affidavits of the parties. Copy of settlement order dated 31.05.2016 is on record. Cross case vide FIR No.73/2013 registered under Sections 325/34 IPC at PS Tilak Nagar has also been settled and FIR therein has been quashed. 4.
Since the matter has been settled between the parties amicably, no useful purpose will be served to continue with the proceedings. In the interest of justice and to put an end to the litigation, FIR No.373/2015 registered under Sections 323/354/452/506/34 IPC at PS Tilak Nagar and all the proceedings arising therefrom are quashed. 5.
The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
