CRL.M.C. 1590/2017 This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.31/2015, under Sections 354-A/354/323/452/34 IPC, registered at Police Station Sonia Vihar, Delhi and all proceedings emanating therefrom.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners and the respondent No.2 are the residents of the same village and locality i.e. Village Sabhapur, Chauhan Patti, Near Mangal Bazar, Main Road, Delhi-110 094 and on 06.01.2015 a misunderstanding had arisen between the parties which resulted into registration of the aforesaid FIR. Counsel further submits that after the registration of the FIR, the near relatives and friends intervened and the dispute has been amicably settled and the misunderstanding has been sorted out. Counsel further submits that since the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and nothing further remains to be adjudicated between the parties, however, the FIR in question is coming as hurdle in the way of the present petitioners.

He accordingly prays that the FIR in question and all proceedings arising therefrom may be quashed. The respondent No.2 Guddo @ Guddi Devi is present in Court today and has been identified by the IO ASI D.K.Tyagi P.S. Sonia Vihar, Delhi and also represented by her counsel Mr.P.P.Singh Bhatti, Advocate. Respondent No.2 present in person admits that she has amicably sorted out the misunderstanding with the petitioners to have better relations in present and in future as she and the petitioners are residing in the same village and locality. She further admits that nothing further remains to be adjudicated between them and further submits that she has no objection if the aforesaid FIR is quashed.

Looking into the above facts and circumstances, since the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and the misunderstanding which led to the registration of the FIR has been resolved/sorted out and both the parties are residents of the same village and locality, to have better relations between the parties in present and in future, I deem it appropriate to quash

the FIR and all its subsequent proceedings. Consequently, FIR No.31/2015, under Sections 354-A/354/323/452/34 IPC, registered at Police Station Sonia Vihar, Delhi and all proceedings emanating therefrom are hereby quashed.

The present petition is allowed and disposed of accordingly. Copy of this order be given dasti to the parties, as prayed. I.S.MEHTA, J APRIL 20, 2017 'dc'
