The present petition has been filed by the petitioners praying inter alia for issuance of directions to the respondent No.1/SEC not to finalize, notify the delimitation of Municipal Ward No.69 Chattarpurt(part of Assembly No.46) in contravention of Section 9(1)(a) of Delimitation Act, 2002. 2.
Mr.Pushkarna, learned counsel for the respondent No.1/SEC states that much water has flown since the filing the present petition, inasmuch as the draft delimitation order in respect of the subject ward has already been issued by the respondent No.1/SEC on 10.9.2016 and any party being aggrieved by the said order, was required to file the suggestions within fifteen days from the date of publication of the said order, i.e., on or before W.P.(C) 7672/2016

Mr.Maitri, learned counsel for the petitioners states that 90% of the grievance raised by the petitioners has been addressed in the draft delimitation order and as for the remaining objections, the petitioners have submitted their suggestions within the prescribed time of fifteen days. 4.
That being so, it is now for the respondent No.1/SEC to consider all the suggestions, if filed within the prescribed timeline, in accordance with law.

The present petition is disposed of.
