versus STATE (GOVT OF NCT OF DELHI) & ORS ..... Respondents Through:

Mr.Sanjay Lao ASC with SI Rajesh Kumar from PS B.K.Road.

CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR

O R D E R

% 21.04.2017 The petitioners, by the aforesaid petition, have sought protection from respondent Nos.1, 2 and 3 against the actions of respondent Nos.4, 5 and 6 who are lawyers practising in Delhi and a security guard.

Several instances have been referred to in the petition when the petitioners were assaulted and injured. It has been submitted on behalf the petitioners that despite their making great efforts to register complaints against respondent Nos.4, 5 and 6, it is not being done because of the respondent Nos.4, 5 and 6 wielding undue influence with the government officials.

Mr.Sanjay Lao, Additional Standing Counsel was asked by this Court to seek instructions in the matter.

Mr.Lao submits that pursuant to the complaint made by the petitioners, two beat constables have been deputed in the building in which the petitioners reside. The beat constables have been instructed to keep a vigil on the residence of the petitioners and make note of the ingress and egress of unknown faces in their houses and other flats in the building. The second officer of the concerned police station is present here.

Let the protection which has been afforded to the petitioners be continued for sometime till the dispute between the parties is settled in an amicable way.

The petitioners shall be provided mobile telephone numbers of at least two police officers, including SHO of the concerned police station. In case of any emergency call, it would be expected of the police officers of the concerned police station to immediately provide help to the petitioners by rushing to their place. In case, the police finds that any one of the respondents or others acting on their behalf are trying to harass the petitioners, necessary action would be taken forthwith.

With this observation, the petition is disposed of. ASHUTOSH KUMAR, J APRIL 21, 2017 mb
