% 26.08.2016 By this writ petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India, petitioner has prayed for grant of furlough for three months. It is submitted that petitioner is entitled to furlough in terms of the Parole & Furlough Guidelines, 2010. In this case petitioner seeks furlough on the ground of maintenance of social ties with his family and society. Petitioner was released on parole for one month on 18th April, 2016 and was surrendered on 18th May, 2016. The ground for maintenance of social ties with family and society is not convincing since hardly three months have passed and the petitioner was out on parole for one month.

Petition is dismissed.
